"These Bali blinds are absolutely perfect for a bathroom or a kitchen. I purchased a set for my upstairs bathroom and honestly wasn't expecting such sturdy construction and good looks for so little cash outlay. Sure, there are only a handful of color choices, but the bright white isn't too overpowering, and works wonderfully for me. I've had these for a few months now, and they don't attract dust or mildew in the slightest, unlike my old aluminum blinds. They were a cinch to set up as well. There's really nothing "economy" about the way this product looks or works. I highly recommend them."

"The blinds are easy to install except for the screws provided. I wish they provided the screws which could penetrate easily into the drywall. It took a lot of time for me to nail the screws. Installing the blinds afterward took less than 2 minutes."

"This is a good product and I installed twenty four Bali 2 inch Faux Wood Coconut blinds in two days inside window frames constructed of sheet rock on top of wood frames. If I were installing these inside of wood frames, I would still use the sheet rock screws, but would pre-drill the wood to prevent splitting.
The screws that came with the blinds require pre-drilling and the Phillips heads were shallow and the 1/4 inch hex head was not much better. They wore out two 1/4 inch Craftsman sockets before I decided that the whole thing would be easier using 1 5/8 inch sheet rock screws. The job went 4 X faster this way. The overall appearance was EXCELLENT and the function also appears EXCELLENT.
Several small glitches occurred. MY measurements for three windows were too long, and I had to shim the inside end mounts with 1/4 inch oak. Three of MY measurements were too short and I had to cut the blinds down with my 10 inch Craftsman table saw, using both a metal blade for the mechanism and a plywood blade for the faux wood blinds. The final appearance was EXCELLENT. Many home hobbyists might not have the equipment to do this, but these blinds were not hard to shorten.
Blinds.com sent one blind was too long by about 1/2 inch longer than their specification, and they told me it would be replaced without charge to me. They were very pleasant and courteous in their phone conversations to me. Kudos to Jessica!"

"I was pleasantly surprised to see the quality of the Bali Budget Blinds. They hang very nicely and look elegant. They do not look like budget blinds. My huband had no problem installing them. "I recently ordered 11 “see through less” Bali brand window blinds from Blinds.com. I shopped other online and local home improvement stores and I couldn't be more satisfied. I received the blinds in about a week with the entire order in tack. Nothing was missing or damaged - Incredible. I installed the blinds myself using mostly a drill, hole punch and tape measure, and of course a box cutter. The first one took me a while to install, mostly because I was unfamiliar with the product, but once understood, it took the rest of the afternoon to complete. Frankly, I was surprised how well they looked and how sturdy the installation is. I have completed the downstairs to my house and I will definitely order the upstairs as well, 8 more, plus the patio door to go. Oh by the way, I got the blinds for less that half the cost compared to the major home improvement stores could offer, and even cheaper that the other online stores. Free shipping and no sales tax, can’t beat it. I’ll be back!"

"I absolutely love these blinds. In the past, we've gotten real-wood blinds, which just warp and flake due to humidity and sunlight. These blinds were easy to install, are smooth and clean-looking and DON'T WARP! They are strong (no worries about breaking them as they are adjusted), and having the strings tied up and combined to one string (so you don't have four strings to hassle with) is a nice touch. I have order blinds for my bedroom and the price at Home Depot was double the price. In fact to do 32 windows it would have cost me over 2 thousand dollars. "This blind was recommended on the website for use in high moisture areas, like bathrooms; which is where we installed ours.
The problem is that the knobs on the pull strings are painted wood... so they've already started to peel and flake after only a few weeks. They should be made of vinyl or plastic. Also, whoever assembled our blind made them too long (yes, I measured correctly) and didn't get the 3 pulls cord lengths the same, so they're crooked.
We've ordered from Blinds.com a total of 4 times. The first 3 orders were perfect - this one... not so good."
