When lowered, these woven wood shades lie flat; when raised, the woven woods hang in even, 5" overlapping folds. Provenance Woven Woods are soil and dust resistant, and filter 75% to 90% of UV rays.Provenance shades are available in a wide variety of patterns and weaves that are sure to compliment any decor. Note: Premium Patterns add 30% to the base price of the blind (Brisbane, Tahiti). Deluxe Patterns add 80% to the base price of the blind (Autumn, Mali, Saipan).In addition to standard cord operation, this shade can be customized with the continuous cord loop feature (required for shades over 72") or the bottom-up/top-down feature. Choose from these lining options to complete your look & present a uniform streetside appearance: - No liner: softened light & moderate privacy.- Privacy liner: softened light & substantial privacy (adds 50% to the base price of the shade)- Blackout liner: diffused light & complete privacy (adds 50% to the base price of the shade)Edge banding can also be added to the sides and bottom of each shade to customize your Provenance Woven Wood. The banding is 1 1/2 inches wide on each side. "I do like my blinds, however there were a few imperfections in the pattern, it maybe just the way woven shades are, it looked like they had a few pulls like in a sweater. As far as installing them, I know my husband had to do a little juggling with the brackets as I have Anderson windows. He had to redrill holes because we wanted to align the brackets with the dividing pieces of wood of each window. I really like the color and the way they matched, however the way the light comes through them during the day its hard to see the colors in the blinds. I probably should have ordered them with some kind of backer, which I was going to do, but the cost went up a lot. As far as this website, THEY WERE TERRIFIC, I WOULD BUY FROM THEM AGAIN. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE."

"Bought 3 of these shades for the master bedroom. Two of the shades work well. However, one of the shade's cord catch doesn't work well. Everyday we have to try severals times before the cord catches in the thingamegiggy pulley to make the shade stay up evenly. It's annoying since the shade is only 4 months old. It seems to be getting worse. I would expect more for the price.
Otherwise, we're happy with the appearance. I did have to call blinds.com once to speak with their customer service and received very good service."
