"Well made, sturdy. One is ever so slightly unlevel at the bottom, which I tried to adjust at the mounting site. Mine were inside mount and the instructions on paper and on line were of no help at all. I was able to get them up, but I have experience with this sort of thing. The average home owner would be perplexed!"

"My wife chose the Budget Woven Wood Shades for our 3-season room. We weren't looking to spend a lot for unheated space, but the room faces south and needed shade from the morning and late-afternoon sun. They've got a nice finish and fit her decor. If she's happy, I'm happy.
My only complaint: the lower binding. It's matchstick wood, bound by folding-over the bottom (like pants fabric), and that is held in-place using double-sided tape. That's probably fine for most climates (or air-conditioned space) but it does not like the summer heat in NC."

"My girlfriend had told me about this website and I LOVE that I could get samples of a couple of colors I was thinking about FIRST. Not sure I would have picked the color I did had I not seen it...and the quality of the budget shades.
Also got points from www.mypoints.com for ordering. AWESOME! Always try to shop with a merchant that I can shop through mypoints with.
I'm using the pair I bought for our boys' new playroom and it ties it great with the look we wanted. Contrasts with the bright colors my boys picked for the walls but coordinates with the browns in the built-in and pool/hockey table .
Highly recommend these shades and the company. Very high quality product at a good price."

"I have had my blinds for almost 2 years now, and I absolutely love them, and am very glad I got them. They were easy to install, fit perfectly based on the measuring instructions, and are easy to keep clean. My one issue is that the weaving (the strings that hold the blinds together) has started to come unravelled in one small area, and I'm worried it will continue to get worse. I blame it on my kids, and my dog who insists on peeking out the window, but I hadn't considered those issues when I got the blinds."
