"I had gone to a local paint/wallpaper store where I picked out these blinds and the color. I even paid for them to measure my window. Then I did some investigated and bought them for $150 less on Blinds.com! Installation was easy and after over a year, they still look great with little wear. I live in a street-level apartment, so I like the fact that I let light in from the top while keeping my privacy. Great product!"

"My one caveat, appearance, isn't a complaint. It is the nature of cellular shades not to be beautiful, but they keep you snugger than almost anything short of lined velvet curtains. I am well acquainted with Hunter Douglas and have always found their customer service outstanding. I think their product has improved steadily over the years and the blinds work better than ever. I was not acquainted with blinds.com and now that I am I will certainly never buy blinds from anyone else. The advice from customer service, the ease of ordering, the certain delivery, the interest in feed back, all outstanding."

"we bought some 1/8" semi-opaque duette with top down/bottom up control and the ultraglide lift. hunter douglas is a bit more expensive than other generic brands but it was completely worth it in this instance. the blinds look great and the ultraglide mechanism is amazing."

"We recently built in a high mountain town, and the sun is very intense at all seasons. We installed Duettes, including several top-down bottom-ups, and have been very pleased at the UV/temperature control we have. Our new hardwood floors are fully protected from fading and sun damage in the mornings while still admitting a beautiful diffused light."

"We are very happy with the five cellular shades (HD D1 3/8) we purchased from blinds.com. They arrived in no time, and only with one of them we had a mistake in width, which was due to measuring the window wider...and that got fixed so quickly after we sent the shade to the factory. The shades look so sleek, simple and beautiful in our bedroom and master bath. I am convinced we made the right decision. Definitely recommend this product. Maybe the only thing that could improve, is the ultra glide mechanism could be quieter."

"A great product, super easy installation, and a great price! When's the last time you did a home project and were so pleased with all these features? The blinds are a pleasure to look at every time we pass the living room. Moreover, they work beautifully--the top-down bottom-up feature gives lots of flexibility for blocking out sunlight and still seeing the sky. The website was easy to use and customer service reps were knowledgable and helpful. We do lots of projects and are highly selective about the products we put in our home. "The Duette Single Cell blinds are amazing in all respects! The up/down down/up features allows you to have an optimal view at all times. With mountains all around, and plentiful sun, but neighbors nearby, that was an important feature to us. We installed 26 blinds in our home, ourselves!! --at a savings of over 50% from a local retailer. These Duette Single Cell blinds are of amazing quality and easily installed, come in various colors, and are lightweight but substantial. In shipping, a couple of attachments were left out; someone quickly assisted us by telephone with instructions for installation, and we received the replacement/addition parts within a few days. This is our third home to install blinds, and each time we have chosen blinds.com for its quality, price, and customer satisfaction. But these particular blinds are the best of all. Don't be afraid to do the installation yourself!! With a bit of patience and following directions, it can easily be done. "I have the Duette 3/8-inch single cell blinds in all of my windows. The colors that were available matched with the curtains I choose to accompany the blinds for window dressing. I love the top-down bottom-up feature that allows for privacy with light entry. The blinds were a bargain - I shopped around - a fit great and a snap to install by myself. "While this product has the same quality that everyone has come to know, respect and trust with Hunter Douglas, I was surprised at the bottom finish to the Easy Rise and the Continuous Loop product.
There is a string remaining at the bottom of the blind. There are actually three or four of them depending on the length of your blind. We called an inquiry in on this when we first installed them thinking surely we were missing a �piece� to cover the strings up. We were told we were not missing a piece. This is just how they are. We were also told to NOT clip them off. It was important that they remain that same length. We should find a way to �tuck� them in.
We were very surprised; these strings could be easily hidden if there were a strip applied to the bottom of the blind. In fact, it looks like one belongs there.
Confident there will be a fix for this in the future, we are happy with the product just as we have been with all the Hunter Douglas products we have had in our homes of the years."
