"These blinds look amazing! We installed them in our master bedroom where we have many odd shaped windows. The blinds look elegant and they darken the room perfectly. The lite rise feature keeps the strings and pullies too a minimum. They are perfect!"

"We had to order blinds for our new home. We ordered samples from several different companies. The Chalet blinds matched the our wood work the best. I was impressed with the fast shipping. The quality of the blinds is great!!! We did not do our entire house with the Chalet blind but we will be replacing the others with them. The operate very smooth and are wonderful."

"We are so pleased with these blinds. They are absolutely beautiful! They were extremely easy to install and the fit was perfect. We have hickory cabinets in our kitchen, and the blinds in hickory are a perfect match. They give our kitchen a completely different look! We had a couple of issues with items not being shipped. With one order, a wand was missing; and with another order, the hardware was missing. Both issues were corrected immediately through blinds.com. The manufacture and shipping were so fast, we had the blinds in our home in less than a week for both orders. The prices were really reasonable, and we highly recommend buying from blinds.com! We are so happy with these blinds, we will definitely buy more as we remodel the rest of our house."

"They look terrific and perform nicely. I was able to hang the blinds myself, but it did take some work. I had to send one back to be recut. A seasoned professional wouldn't have had the same issue. In all, I'm happy and feel I got a good value for the money."

"The one home project I despise is putting up blinds. Although hanging these struck fear into my heart, they have been the easiest to install. We purchased two blinds for our remodel as a test, and have decided to complete the entire home with blinds from blinds.com."

"First of all, we ordered the blinds on a Sunday night and they were delivered only 5 days later on a Friday. We installed them that night. It only took approximately 5-10 minutes to install each blind. We love them!!! Best price we could find and they look much better than we even expected!"

"I just replaced aluminum mini blinds that I purchased 15 years ago that were purchased from a local blinds store. The cost of my new wood blinds was only $30 more in total (for 3 blinds) than I paid 15 years ago for metal. Very happy with the way they look and the way the clips for the header are hidden. BGlinds came fast and went up easy. Would definately recommend Chalet Hunter Douglas and Blinds.com"

"Jay,
To be honest it was very simple and straight forward,
ordering blinds on your site. But I still spent at
least an hour and a half, measuring remeasuring,
measuring and remeasuring, before I placed my order. I
was doing an 88" inside mount. The opening had three
flush windows. I ordered 3 blinds on one rail. The
blinds fit perfect and were very easy to install.

"I installed some faux wood blinds, from another manufacturer, just a few months ago. By comparison, these Hunter Douglas real wood blinds were a joy to install. The mounting system for these blinds is simple, strong, and intuitive, whereas the others were cumbersome and counter-intuitive.

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars to the "Ease of Installation" is that the included screws were useless. They had hex heads that were large enough to cause interference problems. In other words, the blinds wouldn't fit into the brackets because the heads of the screws were in the way. I had to make a trip to the hardware store to buy some flat-head screws.

I bought the wand option for the tilt, and that too is just great compared to the pull-cord tilt system on the previous blinds.

Another thing that I like is that the real wood blinds weigh less than the faux wood blinds, so they are easier to operate, and fewer cords are required to support them...it's a cleaner look."

"I have never installed blinds and I have always had someone measure and install previous orders of blinds. This was so easy I followed the directions and the blinds fit in the window perfectly. The installation was so easy that I installed them in a couple of hours. I would order these blinds again."

"I purchased a set of these Hunter Douglas blinds for a very large and wide front-room window and am completely impressed with the superior quality, construction, and look. I think I was first clued in when I opened the box and could smell a nice rustic wood scent coming off these babies. They were in pristine condition (as were the other 7 window treatments I ordered from this site) and it only took my fiance and I about 15 minutes from box opening to set them up.

They really add a touch of elegance to the room, and despite the hefty size and weight, the pull mechanism is smooth and easy to use.

They also block the harsh sun in such a thorough way that we don't need the air conditioning up quite so high any more.

To my mind, there's really no reason to go faux when you can get real wood blinds of this quality at such a great price.

O, and did I mention that Blinds.com shipped them out less than a week after my order? I was amazed.

I love this company!"

"Hunter Douglas does not include wall spacers (needed for an outside mount) or expansion plugs...this is a heavy product. Both are very inexpensive parts and, after paying $100, I'd expect to receive the proper parts to help install the blinds."
